We first met in Las Vegas at a work conference in October 2019. Though we’d crossed paths professionally before, that was the first time we saw each other in real life. (Adrianna will tell you it was love at first sight.)

What started as a casual connection slowly turned into something more. Long phone calls, easy laughter, and a friendship that kept pulling us closer—even before we realized it. Then life did something wild: we both moved to South Florida, completely unaware the other was doing the same.

Our first date was in May 2021, at a local seafood spot called The Whale’s Rib. It felt like a beginning—familiar, natural, overdue. That night ended with our first kiss, and we’ve been building our life together ever since.

We moved in later that year, with Adrianna’s dog Mac in tow. We filled our home with laughter, late-night talks, a rotating stack of board games, and a steady rhythm that felt like ours.

In 2023, we followed a dream and moved to Portugal. Then, on a perfect January day in 2024, Pete took Adrianna hiking in Gerês National Park. At the end of the trail, next to a waterfall, he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him.
